Business Development Executive

Banyan Data Services, a provider for data solutions and 24X7 managed database services for various technologies, headquartered in San Jose, California, USA. We are looking for business development professionals at both India and US locations to expand our business development team.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a rocket ship startup run by a world-class executive team. You be a part of the business development team, work towards generating new business opportunities. It is a time to use your selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective clients and senior executives.

Key Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of business development sales in IT consulting and services.
  • Self-motivated and flexible to work with little to no supervision
  • Should have negotiation skills to deal with different kinds of customers
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to achieve deadlines along with working under pressure
  • Knowledge on the latest trends and technologies in the database industry and cloud services.
  • Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Research new accounts identify key players and generate interest in prospective clients through email campaigns, LinkedIn and social networking.
  • Communicate through cold calling to prospective clients across the globe and generating new opportunities by working closely with business development and technology teams.
  • Lead targeted email campaigns and reach key decision makers in target companies.
  • Engage business development managers in targeted prospect accounts.
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain a strong lead pipeline; developing interest and RFPs; Performing quantitative analyses and developing proposals / Statements of Work.
